Alaskan Adventure

Alaska, northwest of Canada, is the largest and most sparsely populated U.S. state. It's known for its dramatic, diverse terrain of wide-open spaces, mountains and forests, with abundant wildlife and many small towns. It’s a destination for outdoor activities including skiing, mountain biking and kayaking.
DAY 01 - ARRIVE FAIRBANKS
Fly into Fairbanks. Transfer via shuttle and overnight in Fairbanks, the Heart of the Interior Alaska.
DAY 02 – FAIRBANKS
Climb aboard the Riverboat Discovery III for an unforgettable cruise into the history of Interior Alaska. Travel the Chena and Tanana Rivers on the only authentic sternwheeler riverboat operating in Alaska. This narrated tour provides background on the area's natural history and the Athabascan Native culture. You will see a floatplane take off, meet sled dogs, witness the "wedding of the rivers," and gain insight into the ancient Athabascan Indian culture. Alaskan Native guides who have worked and lived in Alaska will take you on a personalized tour of the Chena Indian Village. Not included: meals and transfers to and from your hotel (Tour departs from the Riverboat Discovery Dock). Overnight Fairbanks. (B)
 
DAY 03 - FAIRBANKS – DENALI
Transfer to Denali either in coach or train on own. Overnight in Denali. (B)
DAY 04 – TUNDRA WILDERNESS
Today travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and Dall sheep. This six to eight hour journey is narrated allowing for insight into the animals, flora and fauna of this spectacular region including a snack on the bus. Early May & September tours are shortened due to road conditions.  Need to reach pick up point on own. Overnight  Denali. (B)

DAY 05 – DENALI - ANCHORAGE              
Transfer to Anchorage either in coach or train on own. Overnight Anchorage. (B)
 
DAY 06 - ANCHORAGE
Enjoy a brief tour of Anchorage, with a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center, a gathering place that celebrates, perpetuates and shares Alaska Native cultures. Overnight Anchorage. (B)
 
DAY 07 – DEPART ANCHORAGE
Your adventure comes to an end with a hotel courtesy shuttle transfer to the airport. (B)
